Hey all, has anyone really driven their system with Chainer? I'm curious who has been able to instantiate a large number of Chainer Plugins in one session with success. I am running PT11 and it's been pretty smooth so far with 8-10 (one on each track). I've also got jBridge going for my 32bit plugs, I'm waiting for the day it'll lock up on me once I've reached "the limit".

I made a test video to see what might happen if I put some chainers into a session that already has some plugins. This happened: https://youtu.be/U9gZa-xzfeo Follow up video coming soon to try a different approach. This post has been edited by Jasmes: Apr 20 2015, 06:43 AM |

Well. This ended in a fireball.
https://youtu.be/h3GqMX0rnOw Gonna try another test where I just fill channels with P&M plugs instead of using the chainer. Note: I am NOT saying it is P&M's fault for melting my machine. The intent of what I'm doing is explicitly to make my DAW really irritated at me. I like P&M, I'm just not sure about the chainer. This post has been edited by Jasmes: Apr 20 2015, 06:47 AM |
