2019 PACKAGING TRENDS: BACK TO THE FUTURE
Even if "hard-hitting" and "ready to sell" remain the keywords of choice for packaging designers, other factors still influence packaging design. Today, mid-2019, here is a small summary of the most important trends.

BOLD OR SUBTLE COLORS
The most popular color palettes of 2019: soft pastel shades and colorful geometric shapes. Natural pastel tones refer to the respect of the environment, an element on which many brands are currently playing. Mint, truffle, pink, gold and lilac shades are on the rise, and are often enhanced by a deeper tone - a minimalist "look & feel" due to consumer appeal for honesty and transparency.

The opposite of this trend is the search for daring and trendy looks. The dogma of the 80s is "more is more", both in terms of colors as geometric shapes and layers of images.

PACKAGING DESIGN FOR E-COMMERCE
