Hi,
I couldn't see anyone mentioning whether or not the Chainer handles latency of VST plugins in different hosts like Pro Tools.
And it's so odd to not easily find answers for it.
Am I the only one who is curious?

This information SHOULD HAVE been included in the features list of the product - otherwise why should anyone bother with the Chainer while it's unable to handle the latency?

I MAY be interested in Chainer if it compensates the latency of the individual plugins internally.

The answer to your question is yes. I am using PT 11 with Waves VSTs and delay compensation active. This shows me the latency compensation in numeric form when a plug is added via Chainer.

This is a great product, especially for using old VSTs and 32 bit plugins with a 64 bit DAW. If I could help sway you to a more positive attitude towards the product, I'd have to say this is definitely a need-to-have, especially for the price smile.gif

Hello ibanman555,

Thanks for your positive comments and helping out.

The 1.2 version of the Chainer was posted the other day.

Best Regards,

Nick
