the site was extremly slow dispite me having an excellent connection. In the end I gave up, thought you should know.

Hello oldblood,

Sorry about the problem you had trying to shop on the store.

Could you tell me more about it?

What happened when you tried to checkout?

It is important for us to make sure that this sort of thing doesn't happen.

Best Regards,

Nick

Hi Nick

OK I tried to purchase this http://store.dontcrack.com/product_info.ph...6d9938e72b1b516 added to cart as you do (after logging in I may add)
followed Cart checkout route using Paypal as my payment method. It hung, and hung, and hung. it was obvious that this was going to be a problem so I went back to main cart page, emptied the cart, tried again following same procedure, it still hung for some time
then I got the error user not known or something like that. So I logged out, logged back in and went through it all again, still it did not recognise my user ( pleaee bear in mind I have purchesed here before). After a while I got sick of this so decided to make a new user acount.
guess what the site hung again, I have a 75MB no capping and its always on or just below 75MB so I knew it could not be that (and truthfully speaking I had just previously made a puirchase elsewhere (same continant, different country).
Ther last time I tried I waited about 15 minutes before leaving the site and giving up.

Hello oldblood,

From what you describe it seems it was the part of the transaction where the PayPal account is asked for and verified. It seems it hung there.

This is a part of the automatic procedure that we don't control, sorry that it didn't work out.

At the other store did the PayPal part seem slow as well, or was it problem free?

I will ask our webmaster what he thinks happened.

Best Regards,

Nick

Well it is not the Paypal section at all really, because this site was failing to recognise me as a user. Plus the hanging was occurring before I reached checkout stage sometimes.
It was not until a few more attempts I even got that far, and as for the the other site no issues there, in fact it is extremely rare for me to get issues with sites across the Atlantic.

Hi Nick,

Sorry but it is to late, I could not hold on forever, unfortunatly I was forced to purchase elsewhere, which i was not pleased about.
you guys really need to make a point of checking these forums regularly. You state you want feedback, yet you are not keen on replying to it.
There are many instances here where people have asked for help and you have been slow to react.
I am sorry to be critical but it really needs to be said.

Clive
