Using chainer plugin on aux track in Digital Performer, when I go to select a UAD plugin under the VST plugin list, I see each plugin listed twice. There is no indication that one is mono, mono to stereo, etc. I've tried using a mono instance of chainer, mono to stereo, stereo, same thing.
With Waves plugins, it shows plugins twice, but does indicate one as mono, one as stereo. Carlos DP 8.07 Mac OS 10.8.5 Chainer 1.1 (AU) UAD-2 (7.11) |

But it might be the way the UAD plug-ins themselves are giving up their information to the Chainer. If the Waves are indicating the fact that they are Mono or Mono to Stereo, then their plug-ins have the data included that lets the Chainer know exactly what they are. There are hundreds of VST developers out there and some follow all the protocols and some don't, the Chainer can only show what info it detects. The Chainer 1.2 is now available to download. Best Regards, Nick |
