Hi All.
My name is Enrico. I'm a VIP bundle user and a Chainer owner.
I have no problems using chainer. I found it very usefull. In effect version and Instrument too.
I have to suggestion or features request.
1) On Automation Menu adding a "LEARN MODE". When this "voice/function" is activated you can move a VSTi/VSTe parameter and add it automatically to the automation list.
This way is more simple instead of scrolling a long list of criptic parameters name.
2) Implementing MIDI PROGRAM CHANGE on CHAINER. With BANK (MSB/LSB) and Program change.
Adding the possibility to set a MIDI CHANNEL where CHAINER listen to Program Change.
This program change can be used to change the chain of CHAINER. To change automatically (via Program Change) the CHAINER preset.
In this way we can use one chainer in different configuration (preset) and change it via program change along the song on the same track.
Sorry for my bad English.
I hope I explained myself.
Probably using Chainer increasingly, other FRs arrive
Thank you very much for the work done.
Enrico
Hi Nick.
Thank You for your answer.
I am preparing another FR regarding the parameters linked
But I need to study better this idea. So I can better explain my request.
I wait patiently for some/any news.
Thanks You and Good Job.
Enrico
Hello
For a start, im sorry for my very bad English.
I have some suggestion to improve PM Chainer. Im a user Studio One V3 Pro.
We have some new stuff in Studio One for example Extended FX Chains. Is there possibility to add similar splitters (freq, L/R etc) for PM Chainer?
I believe that is the way to improve VST chainers - full visibility, full editable signal flow. Idea of small but usefully VST like VIP Bundles (with low cost CPU)
joined to fully editable signal chainers. I have something like this in CGI - we working on "nodes" with textures, animations clips, light parameters and other...
Many thanks for your hard and inspired work Nick.
Jack
