Hello...I randomly checked the downloads section for the Blue Tubes bundle and was ecstatic when I saw the latest v4 release! Thank you! I cannot wait to start using these in heavy rotation again!

Quick couple of questions:

1) I have a license for BlueVerb. Has that been updated yet?

2) On some (but not all) of the new v4 BT plugs I'm noticing some odd GUI flickering where it seems like there are rectangle regions underneath the main face of the GUI. It seems to happen when I hover my mouse over the GUI to turn certain knobs or switches. It doesn't cause any crashes or glitches other than the subtle flickering. Analog TrackBox does it most of the time, as does PEQ5B, for example. Seems like about half of the plugins are doing this.

I'm on a 2021 M1Max 14" MBP, macOS Sequoia 15.7.3, 64GB memory, running a Slate Raven MTi2. DAW in this case is latest LP12.0.1

On the sound side these all sound pretty amazing. If I was to describe them with one word it would be "smooth" in all the right ways. Really nice. And usable.

I love the updated GUIs including the new alternate ones. And the CPU is unbelievably low. That in itself is amazing.

Thank you so much for keeping these beloved tools alive!

Thank you so much for your kind words — we truly appreciate you taking the time to write this. It means a lot to hear that you’re enjoying the v4 release and putting the Blue Tubes back into heavy rotation. “Smooth” is a description we’re very happy to hear.

Regarding your questions:
  • BlueVerb – It’s definitely in the pipeline. The update is planned, but it’s not available just yet. We’re working through the lineup methodically, and BlueVerb is on the list. We’ll make an announcement as soon as it’s ready.
  • GUI flickering – Thank you for the detailed system information, that’s very helpful. This is the first report we’ve received about this behavior. At the moment, we’re not able to replicate the issue on our side, but we will take a detailed look into it and investigate thoroughly.

We really appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

We’re also very glad to hear that the sound quality and CPU efficiency are delivering for you — that was a major objective with v4.

Thanks again for the support and for keeping these tools alive in your sessions.

Best regards.

Thanks for the head's up about BlueVerb! Glad to know it's on your radar! :-)

Per the flickering GUI with some of the new BT v4 plugins, would it be helpful if I sent a short screen recording of it to send your way? If so, can you PM me a good address to send it? Thanks!

Yes, that would be very helpful — thank you.

I’ll send you a private message with the email address where you can send the screen recording.

Really appreciate you taking the time to help us track this down.

Hey...I finally had a chance to attempt some screen recordings of the weird flickering GUI's and now none of them are doing it. huh.gif I have no idea what is up with that other than I did update to the latest macOS Sequoia 15.7.4 (up from 15.7.3) over the weekend. That makes me think it was perhaps something macOS related (and maybe even specific to my MBP's year and config?) and not a Nomad Factory issue. I'll definitely reach out again if any of the BT plugs start doing it again but at this point it seems to have worked itself out. What a bizarre thing it was. unsure.gif Hopefully it didn't incite any panic or alarm! Thanks for reaching out via PM per where to send any screen recordings. I'll PM you if things start behaving weird again but otherwise everything seems fine.

Best...

I'm delighted to hear that the problem seems to have resolved itself, that's a real relief. If the flickering reappears or if you notice anything unusual with the BlueTubes plugins, please don't hesitate to contact us and send us the recordings. We will be ready to look into the issue immediately.

Thank you for following up.

Thanks for the update!
I'm on a Surface 5 laptop and an HP desktop. I'll download later today.
I'm really enjoying the new 2026 BT upgrade. Same great sound. I haven't had any of the issues that have been addressed. Really enjoying the manual. Clicking on the graphic highlights the description. Brilliant.
Thanks!

Yes, thank you for the update! I've rediscovered Blue Tubes Oilcan Echo as a result. It looks as good as it sounds. Big props to the devs!
