At first I thought - well what's so hot about Evolution, then today I tried it on some parts of a current composition played by horns and trombones and morphing parts of the music into each other at different speeds and transpositions, changing around the level of puritiy and so on I was fascinated by the results. I won't post the brass music but here are some experiments I did today using various GRM tools in various combinations on sounds made with Reaktor, Alchemy and also field recordings. Hi Chris, Yea, I've had several Evolution dropouts today during realtime bouncing, it always happened at different spots within a track and it was not a CPU issue as the CPU on my Mac Pro 8-core was hardly moving. I find the plugs a bit querky and not so well betatested to be honest, as posted in the Logic thread here on DontCrack there are several problems concerning auomation as well. Yes, hopefully they will be able to address these soon, my impression based on response thus far and demo revamp is that fixes will be forthcoming within reason, I certainly look forward to audio stability and agitator bouncing (agitator+Fusion is really quite incredible). -------------------- Chris R.
