Hi, I am in Holland and in need of a freeware Audio Editor & Recorder which should run under Mac OS X 10.3.9 Panter. I want to convert analog audio materiels (audio cassettes) to digital recordings on my laptop. I intend to connect the headphone output socket (jack plug) of my Cassette Deck to the sound input socket (mini jack plug) of my PowerBook. Which software do you recommend to download from this site. Thanks, Leo

Hello Leo,

We have a whole section of freeware that could interest you at:

http://www.dontcrack.com/freeware/software...26amp-Recorder/

Take a look there, as there are so many that I haven't tried I can't really make a recommendation of any particular one.

As your purpose is quite simple, I think you will find one that fits your needs quite quickly.

Best Regards,

Nick
