I can't get the realtime audio input in the OS X demo stand-alones.
The detector under options > audio settings does show the input signal, but I can't hear it.
I can hear the white noise and the test button sound though.

Hi,

Which computer OS do you run ?

Haven't heard of any similar issues up to now. Please let us know if anything new on your side.

Thanks - Peter

Hi Peter,

Thanks for your reply.

I run OS X 10.6.7 Snow Leopard.

I'm routing the audio with Soundflower at 16 bit, 44.1 kHz.
It worked when I loaded an audiofile in a stand-alone GRM app and routed that out.

These routings worked:
GRM stand-alone -> Soundflower -> Ableton Live
GRM stand-alone -> Soundflower -> built-in output
GRM stand-alone -> built-in output

These routings didn't work [i.e. GRM test sound and white noise were sent to output, but without the input signal, even though the detector inside the app showed the input signal]:
Csound -> Soundflower -> GRM stand-alone -> built-in output
Ableton Live -> Soundflower -> GRM stand-alone -> built-in output

Hi,

I've checked and it's true that with the standalone demo version there's a problem with the audio routings.
With the authorized standalone versions and it's working properly. So I'm sure that the GRM Tools' developer will fix it really soon.

best
