Plugivery Forums _ WINDOWS Audio Software _ Can I Use Your Chainer Like Xlutops?

Posted by: ulrichburke Oct 28 2022, 02:55 AM

Dear Plugivery.

I loved the concept of Xlutop's Chainer, downloaded the demo and discovered I was far too late to the party - the shop had closed down and I couldn't buy it/register it! Then purely by chance I came across this site, discovered I'd registered here sometime in the past and forgotten (sorree!) and wondered....

Does your version of Chainer ONLY work on your VSTs, or can I use it with other people's as well? And - this is the big one cos this is where most of my best sounds are - does it recognise Maizeplayers? Problem with Xlutop's version was it couldn't 'see' Maizeplayers for some reason - I'm not that techie - and that put most of my best sounds outta the question with it. Maizeplayers often have great sounds - they come up as 16-slot multitimbral, but you can't ever use the other 15 slots. I've zero idea why they never let you use all the slots but that's why I'd love to use 'em with Chainer!

So to reiterate - can I use your Chainer with other people's VSTs (the 32-bit version, old DAW here) and does it recognise Maizeplayers (like Irish Acts Infinity, Beatmachine stuff, anything like that.)

Thanks in advance

Yours respectfully and cacophoniously (should be 'harmoniously' but I've not got there yet!)

Chris.
