I am hearing some distortion in EchoFlex, that I don't think is intentional (at any rate, it doesn't sound like an "analog" distortion to me ).
Please download the following Url.. http://vic.emerson.perso.neuf.fr/Uploads/EchoFlex.zip It contains a very short audio clip, and the EchoFlex preset that was used. It is just one long note on a Rhodes sound, played twice.. once with the Mix control 100% dry, and then again at 100% wet. The "wet" setting is as close to the dry as possible.. with one exception.. "Variation". With "Variation" at zero, the sound is perfectly clean, but distorted when increased (it is set at "3" here). Turning down the Tone control does reduce this, but seeing as the Rhodes has hardly any high frequencies anyways, should that be necessary? Anyways, I'd appreciate your comments.
