I LOVE pleasant surprises.
And I know that development of an effect algorithm takes some serious effort. So I'm not surprised to have to wait for a while to see new additions. Releasing multiple at the same time... Kudos. However, I'd like to know: is this release going to fill all the 13 empty spots on the website and that's the bundle? Or does it still pay out to make suggestions for new additions? Don't get me wrong, this is some serious value for the price asked, this bundle already has more single processors than I can typically use. My question is more like: in case we still have some ideas for titles, would you employ further resources to develop them if you're intrigued? :-) |

Yes the 13 empty spots will be filled real soon. As we are in the final stages, the choices have been made. But I am interested to know what your suggestions are, I bet you some of the plug-ins you might be thinking will be there. If I may add, it is 14 new plug-ins that are on the way and we sure do monitor ideas that could make the collection a must have bundle ;-)
Following up with users requests, it does appear that there will be more than 40 plug-ins at the end. You'll soon be informed. Thanks - Peter -------------------- Eric Nolot

Best Regards, Nick DontCrac[k] Nick Hamilton - Product Manager nick@dontcrack.com http://www.dontcrack.com -------------------------------------------- - JOIN US ON FACEBOOK - -------------------------------------------- I'd just like to add, that the V.I.P bundle is very underrated, and amazing value, for instance I have a drum track[SSD4] and I'm using the P&M "Retro Equalizer",and although I've tried using different EQ's,nothing trims the low thud better than the "Retro EQ". Also, though I'm pleased that more plugins are on their way for those of us that bought the V.I.P bundle,I hope that they're not guitar sim type processors,as I think things like the "Retro EQ",and the "Clairisonix",are far more their usefull, compared to say the "British or California Tone",just MO of course, and I should point out I still like those 2 guitar oriented plugs,I just think, the wider ranging tonal shaping products, are kind of plugins we hope to see soon. Regards RK Hello rksguit, Thanks for your interest in the Plug&Mix plug-ins. I'm glad to hear of getting good results with the "Retro EQ",and the "Clairisonix" plugs, the "British or California Tone" are of course primarily for simulating guitar amps. They're very useful for that purpose, although some of our users put them to work in more "creative" ways, like to put distortion on the lead voice in a selected part of a song. "Retro EQ",and the "Clairisonix" are usually the first plug-ins people mention when they are saying great things about the bundle and how it has helped them to get a mix they way the want it sound. We were on the phone with the developers last night and everything is moving along to plan. We believe that everyone will be pleased with the new plug-ins that will complete the V.I.P. Bundle. Coming real soon, stay tuned. QUOTE When Can We Expect The Rest Of Vip Bundle? Maybe in Year 2015??? LOL!!! Announced since months and never released.... ....keeping people waiting is just pure sheer pig-headedness. Pretty lame for a so-called "serious" developer! |

Thanks Toon ! We're on it, just a question of days now ;-) It has been almost two weeks, however... Maybe in Year 2015??? LOL!!! Announced since months and never released.... ....keeping people waiting is just pure sheer pig-headedness. Pretty lame for a so-called "serious" developer! ... that was a little intense. Eric, No one wants software delivered with bugs. I'm okay with waiting but it doesn't create a good impression when specific promises are made (see first quote) then seemingly broken. It would have been fine to say, "It's just a question of weeks", instead of "days". There are, after all, still a few weeks remaining before P&M would miss the deadline that was set when the DC VIP Bundle was released. However, you did say it was, "... just a question of days now." Everyone will understand if there were some last minute technical problems. What people don't understand is when someone isn't up on their word, so hook us all up with an honest explanation. Under the circumstances, it's the least you can do. If P&M plan on competing successfully in VST development such a forthright explanation will help overcome this particular miscommunication and since this is your first foray, this is the very foundation on which your reputation will rest upon for some while. The time spent on changing the name and creating a new logo doesn't help the situation regardless of it being separate departments. Help us help you.
