Along with other commenters here, first impressions are extremely positive. Unless something unexpected presents itself as an obstacle I will certainly purchase. Thanks for the special invite and fully functioning demo!

One quick question...when changing settings such as 'Formant', 'Tape', 'Transpose, etc…I notice my main 'Stretch' settings seemed 'linked' even though they have no option to unlink…in other words there seems to be relationships between even the 'switches' like formant that I haven't quite worked out that change my current stretch settings. Are there technically reasons for that and is there a way to 'lock' the 'Stretch' from following these others?

Thanks in advance and look forward to official release and purchase (tested so far on 10.6.8 and will install on my 10.8 system today).

As a continue to explore, have to say 'wow!' upon realizing the well thought-out synergy of running TS 'live' under MIDI real time parameter manipulations along with it's built-in recorder. After some quick MIDI learns, I felt like I suddenly had a whole other beast at my disposal smile.gif

Well done IRCAM Lab '-)

Hello Chris,

It's been a while but good to hear from you !

Not sure I understand the question well but I could say that "Transpose" and "Stretch" are linked when in "Tape" mode which seems accurate. Formant doesn't seem to be locked to any other parameters here ???

The folks at IRCAM may add answers to my comment...

Thanks for posting. I'll keep in touch with you.

Cheers - Eric

Yep, sure is a powerful tool that looks "simple" while having secret weapons... A must have indeed !

Thanks again for looking into it.

Right back at you ;-)

I will try to make a better note my next session with TS as to exactly what I observed was 'following' what.

I imagine a manual will be coming along with official release so maybe that will clear up the questions I had apart from 'Tape',which became apparent, consistent with what you describe.

I would also add that the 'remix' section ('Transient', 'Sinus', 'Noise' and their associated parameters) would also benefit from some sort of 'lock' when loading/swapping in a new file…though I haven't properly utilized the 'Preset' system yet so maybe that's the key to setting up TS and trying a overall system of parameter settings with various swapping of source file without having these parameters to 'reset' to default?
