Plugivery Forums _ ircamLAB _ Vst/au ?

Posted by: lnikj Jun 17 2015, 08:33 PM

I user the Super VP algo in Max4live, and I loved the demo of TS.

Any news on a VST/AU version?

Will there be a $99 intro price on it if/when it is released?

Thanks.

Hello lnikj,

The Plug-in version of the TS should arrive in the third quarter.

I can't guarantee the $99 price, but I believe it will be the case.

Best Regards,

Nick

Thanks for getting back to me on this.

Could be less than two weeks then smile.gif Or more than three months sad.gif

Good(ish) news on the pricing!

Cheers.

Hello lnikj,

Like you I am hoping it will be a shorter rather than longer period before it arrives.

Best Regards,

Nick

Hey: What about AAX? I know that we "ProTooler's" are a small minority... dry.gif

Any update on this? +1 on the AAX version but VST also welcomed. It seems that TS was a good idea that was left to collect dust.

Hi all,

Whilst we can't say how long this will be to release, IRCAMLab are scheduled to update TS. Keep check on the IRCAMLab site for news.

Thanks!

No further news as yet diego, sorry! We're keeping track with the developers awaiting a status update.

Well, this is a record wait.
Nick above stated back at Q1 2015
"The Plug-in version of the TS should arrive in the third quarter."

An entire year has past from that -already delayed- promised release date.

///I guess either dontcrack or Ircam developers don't know that there is actually people waiting for this promised feature, which
was part of the buying decision when we bought it... but so far have failed to deliver.

As a customer I have had had excellent attention from Nick, however this is the second time that I had been kept
stranded for long lapses with acquired product (excellent software by the way), but waiting for an undelivered promised feature.

This is a wait that at any business transaction would be considered unreasonable, unprofessional and (place yourself the appropriate adjective here).
However, despite this situation, Dontcrack and Nick bring out so unique deals that I will continue to consider them as future acquisition channels...
knowing that this may yet happen again .

Hi Nspace,

Thanks for the reply!

Ourselves at Plugivery, and myself both being in same roles for DC with my colleague Nick also concur; regarding the extended wait times for product releases. We're told the next version of TS is in development, but with little feedback unfortunately from the development team we can't expand on any due dates for this update. We're unable to comment in detail but there has been some restructuring and outsourcing which has waylaid projects progression, but hopefully we'll see continued progress soon.

If there's anything support wise you need, we're here to help, myself, Nick and staff. Reach out and let us know.
