TS2 crashes upon opening version 2.2.4

Thanks for any help!

Running a Mac book Pro mid 2019
OS Version: macOS 12.7

TS2 was working fine yesterday.

Did not close the application overnight. Closed and saved it this morning. But then TS2 crashed when reopening.

Rebooted the laptop. Plus I have tried re-installing TS 2 v 2.2.4 (fresh download) plus uninstalling . . .

Followed these instructions. . . first but found nothing in library/Audio etc

How Do I Uninstall Plug-ins On Mac?

To completely remove your plug-ins from a Mac, remove the relevant plug-in files from these directory paths: -

VST

HD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST

AU

HD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components

AAX

HD/Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-ins

RTAS

HD/Library/Application Support/Digidesign/Plug-Ins

MAS

HD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/MAS

Then, also remove the folder of the Manufacturer from both...: -

HD/Library/Application Support

HD/Applications

+++++++

In case this info helps . . . I was using yesterday in the last editing session opened Altiverb v7 and Fab filter as plugins in the editing process.
Did these affect TS2?

Hello,

Thank you for your feedback. It is difficult to know the cause of the problem but if you can provide the full crash report it would help to correct it.
The problem may be due to an audio configuration not supported by the software or one of its plug-ins, a corrupted sound file, an invalid document, etc. And reinstalling the software will certainly not correct the problem. However, you can delete the preferences to restore the default audio configuration and avoid loading the last document. To do this, go to the `~/Library/Application Support/IrcamLab/` folder (in the Finder, press cmd+shift+g then copy the path) and delete the files
- TS.audio.settings for audio configuration
- TS.pluginList.settings for the list of scanned plugins
- TS.settings for last loaded documents

Let me know if this solves your problem. And if you can send the crash log, maybe that will help find the exact source and fix it.

Thanks again,
Pierre

Many thanks Pierre. : )

the Library Folder (the one I needed to access) is of course hidden. this explains why I had trouble following the online instructions and fixing the issue myself, - your instructions got me there.

have now deleted the below and can successfully open TS 2.

- TS.audio.settings for audio configuration
- TS.pluginList.settings for the list of scanned plugins

Attached is the latest crash log in full.

Thank you!
