I love to make a short loop and scrub the audio, but the playhead will escape the loop when dragging to the left or making the loop smaller from the right. Then I have to stop and go and get the playhead back inside the loop. In Sound Forge, for example, the playhead will stay inside the loop while dragging around. (To be exact the playhead will leave the loop when dragging quickly to the right, but this is predictable and it will simply catch up again)
