Thank you for this site.

I used to use hitsquad for finding software, but I never really liked it. They would list too much software that was only demo, or just plain bad. I think this site is superior because it's all free stuff, and it seems to be a better selection.

Keep it up, i plan on digging thru everything you have to offer.

THX,
Jason D

this is a good selection of audiostuff, thanks for offering this. my wish would be that there was an easy way to only show files for one particular platform when browsing the freeware section. i dont see how can filter out anything thats not osx. only when doing a search there's an option to select platform. but leaving the searchfield empty to display all files for osx doesnt work either. making a difference between osx and os9 would be handy as well.

ok, enough nagging. have a nice day.

Hi there

I live in Latin America, and there's no market yet for secondary software (plugins), since musicians already use the primary apps without a license (hosts).

I'm one of the few working in the audio software field locally, teaching musicians about audio software. Both how to use them and about history of the synth industry, with Robert Moog as the main example.

I want to translate dontcrack.com to spanish and do local merchandising about it. who shall I speak to about this?

thanks for a great site!

regards from Bogotá, Colombia

I think your site is an excellent idea, and well done. I've been all over the Net for ages gathering audio freeware and shareware and especially unique apps written by individual developers, and it's great when these things are gathered together.

What I'd like to know is, do you want entries/links from your public? I could help add quite a lot. I have something of a "speciality"; I'm particularly interested in algorithmic composition, and there are dozens of gems out there, often at obscure web sites.

Thanks for this place!

Hi Shadow44,

I am sorry for the delay replying to your enthusiastic post... I first want to thank you very much for the nice words about our site smile.gif

Sure we could use great support from talented visitors as you suggest. That would certainly be very usefull to all. We are actually working on the back-end process that will shortly enable you or other visitors to contribute thru simple but efficient forms. To keep this database clean we must offer very comprehensive form pages and that should be done shortly!

Please keep in touch.

Eric
