Settings And Demo Questions Options

I currently have Classic v2 (RTAS and VST) and have a couple of questions about the move to v3. Apologies if these were covered elsewhere, but I've been unable to find the answers.

- Does v3 properly read settings files from v2?

- Will installing the demo of v3 overwrite an installation of v2? Or can the v3 demo and v2 temporarily co-exist for comparison? (I do understand about the requirement to surrender your v2 iLok license to authorize the full v3)

After posting, I realized I could also send the question directly to INA/GRM, and got this very clear (and prompt) reply:

"RTAS and VST settings are compatible from v2 to v3.
But not TDM settings.

The demo installer removes v2 version. If you want to keep the old version, you have to copy v2 in another folder."

Hope that info is useful to someone else.
