Hi,

Just bought the pro-plugin bundle and have activation keys, however though when I enter the keys to activate it tells me they're activated, when I use them in Protools 12 (Mac, Yosemite) it tells me they're not activated. So I try to enter the keys again and same problem happens even though I quit PT12 and start it again.

Is this a bug you're aware of? how I get past this? Any tricks I missed?

Thanks

Hi
The same with me. Protools 11.3.1 crashes when I open one off those plugins.
The plugs are authorized on my machine: Mac Pro and mavericks.

Thank's for your help.

I have a very similar problem on Windows using VST plugins.

  1. I enter the code
  2. A success message appears
  3. The licensing files are created in C:\Users\<account name>\Documents\Plug and Mix\Licensing
  4. I unload the plugin
  5. I load it again

However, then, I am asked again to activate.

How to fix this?

Could this be solved in a timely fashion, please? Otherwise, these wonderful plugins are basically worthless for all affected users.

Hello robertsfeir,

The serial number is your authorization code for the plugins.

Install the format, AU, VST or AAX that you need for your DAW, then launch the DAW, (yours will be AAX for your ProTools, of course)

insert a Plug and Mix plug-in on any track, a dialogue box will appear where you copy and paste the serial number, click OK, you're done.

Don't copy the code by hand.

When you copy and paste make sure there are not any spaces before or after any code, as it will prevent the code from working.

The way to see if the plug-ins are installed correctly is to look in the top right corner of the Pro Series plug-ins.

I recommend quitting the DAW and relaunching it to make sure the authorisation is fully completed.

If it shows the version number, for example version 1.0.0, it is installed correctly.

If it says "demo mode" than the plug-in has not been authorised correctly and the authorisation has to be done again.

I had another person who had a problem and this is how we solved it.

He didn't authorise the products one by one but was putting in all three codes, this won't work.

For the bundle you need to insert each of the plug-ins one by one and authorise them individually.

(Make sure there are no spaces before or after the code, that will cause it to be rejected)

For the E-Max you will have a code like this

EMAX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

Then do the OptoMax, your code is like this:

OPTO-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

Then the Tube Exciter, your code is like this:

TUBE-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

Try it and if it is not the solution get right back to me.

Best Regards,

Nick

Hello Pascal,

Take a look at my recommendations to robertsfeir.

Try a reinstall, if ProTools is crashing then it is hard to know if the version number is showing up on the top right hand side to show the authorisation completed successfully.

Nick

Hello pschoenb,

The fact that Authorisation application says successful is just the first step and it means the App completed the writing of the files successfully.

The real test is to quit the DAW you are using and relaunch it, then call up the plug-in on an insert to see if the Version number is displayed in the right hand corner of the plug-in. that means the authorisation was a success, if it says demo then it has to be done again as it was incomplete.

Another point I must underline is the correct copying of the code. A space before or after the code will cause the code to fail.

Hello Nick,

as I see it, one of the following is happening:

  1. The success message is incorrect (Not likely, because the code has been pasted and there are no spaces around)
  2. The Activator application generates invalid content for the .dc file
  3. The plugin code that checks the activation has a problem

Hello Everyone,

Our development team is working hard on the problem that some of you are having.

They have sent me some new codes that I have tested that work for the developers and I have tested them as well and they worked for me.

Please send me a mail and I will get them to you.
