Any way I can upgrade my legacy version to the optimized v4. Not seeing any options or deals even to upgrade. Please don't tell me old customers are left out.

Hi,

BBE Sound products are currently on promo through January 7th, at the DontCrack Store here.

Upgrades from legacy Sonic Sweet have been desisted after we ran the offer for many years and need to recoup as a business on developments to bring new products to market.

Best regards and Happy Holidays!

I feel your pain Miniml! I too have been left out in the cold. I have paid for no less than 4 versions of this product starting with the BBE 422 in 1988. In 1989 I bought the 862 (I still have this one mounted in my rack. After going all DAW, I bought the Sonic Sweet v3. I too would like to recoup as a business on developments. It's easy to see I love the product, I'm just getting a little tired of paying for it. The plugivery website doesn't discriminate. It clearly says, "The Sonic Sweet v4 is a FREE update for all registered Sonic Sweet v3 owners. It says nothing about SWOP, a longer activation code, etc. After raising this issue with Ashley, see evidently banned me for the Nomad Factory site. My user name and password no longer works.

Hi Bobby,

There has been no banning from a Nomad Factory site, so not sure where you may have got that idea huh.gif ?

You have the older legacy (SWET) serial purchased in 2012, not v3. You can still use your purchased version and receipt a new license file for activation via the included Software Activator in the package installer(s) and detailed in my support ticket reply on Feb 6th, marked as read by yourself.

As detailed, an upgrade offer had been available for many years (and we're 7 years on from your purchase). The products have gone through many various developmental transitions since then with v3 to optimized and now v4. Those owning v3 optimized with an SWOP" serial have been gifted v4 for free. It is not by our wish to charge for an upgrade but as a business we must factor our own costs for development, porting to a new framework, paying developers and staff, right?

We run discounts often, so keep check of newsletters from our resellers to catch a deal and save on the current retail pricing.

Kind regards.
