Because the offer expired a while back. There was only 5,000 licenses available at $49.

The fact it turned up in a search was probably due to the fact of the popularity of this 'news' a lot of people took a look at it when the promo was on for a month in the summer of 2014.

Some search engines work on the number of 'hits' a subject gets.
