Hi,
I just purchased Magma, installed 1.66. It's a great concept, however I have had my machine lock-up close to a dozen times in the first hour of use, on a machine that is as stable as a rock, and hasn't had a single crash in nearly 3 years of running daily with a heavy load. I've beta tested lots of software, and am a tech, so I know my way around. It's no one thing that causes the crashs. It also takes out my ASIO driver, so I have to hard reset the machine. I've uninstalled the product for now. My reason for writing is I know the situation is in flux at the moment, and you guys will be having a look at the state of the software, code etc. I just want to ask that you take a look at magma, please. I would like to be able to use in my productions at some point in the future. Also I am happy to provide proper detailed feedback in the various ways it currently crashes, and I'm sure I can find new ones. I wish you luck in your new endeavors. |

That is very kind of you. We'll definitely get back to you at beta stage... Thanks Hi Peter, Thanks for replying on the status of the project/s. You've got a rather large challenge on your hands. To help lighten the load at beta stage, please include me, if possible. Am happy to help in that regard. |
