Please see the edit menu for common region functions such as cut, copy, paste, insert, delete, split region.
You may trim/resize regions by grabbing the left or right portion. How do you envision "crop" to work as split and delete selected region would be the same process? Please detail your thoughts on save selection and save selection as and how you would utilize such feature? Insert silence, yes this is a good one and we'll push developers to add to teh list.
