The Reaper vst ini file contains the log of all successful and all failed vst/vsti load attempts. Failed plugs are not given a name and remain blacklisted. If you delete just the line for the failed plug, you can restart Reaper and only retry the failed plug, and not have to do a complete breakdown and rescan everything. Great explanation John! Thank you very much! Can't wait for a fix to this new version, apparently there are some issue pending for this latest release, I'm sure they'll be all addressed soon by the plug&mix team! |

Restart Reaper and everything should work. Then if you want, reinstall the P&M suite with Basspeg unchecked. Note that failed plugs in the ini file have a name of the dll = then some numbers. The line does not have a comma followed by the plugin name. Successfully registered plugs have the dll name, = , bunch of numbers, a comma, and the plugin name. Only strange thing is that this method of failing plugs should have protected Reaper from crashing on restart. Hi John! Thank you very much for your explanation, actually Reaper crashed only the first time during VST scanning (I tried twice because I also tried to clear the cache and re-scan), but after the first time basspeg was simply skipped and ignored so everything worked fine. Hope to have a fix on the plugin because I'd like to try it Thanks again! |

I posted this in a new thread where I saw other users have same problem: after the new update Reaper always crashes whenever it reach basspeg plugin during new VSTs scan. Still didn't tested all other plugins but they were scanned without problems. Here's the link of the related thread on this forum http://forums.plugivery.com/index.php?showtopic=142910 thanks for you support! |

Same problem here. Win 10 Home 64 bit, after installation of new version with new plugins Reaper crashed during the VSTs check. Cleared and re-scanned all plugins didn't solve the problem, it still crashes whenever the Basspeg is reached during the scan. Hope for a quick fix, it was actually the most interesting for me Thanks anyway for these new additions, i LOVE Plug & Mix stuff, hope to receive a fix for the basspeg soon! |

Quick question: are there any issues in installing both 32 bit and 64 bit versions of the VIP Bundle? I'm asking because I have a 64 bit machine with Reaper 64 bit and Harrison Mixbus (which is unfortunately just 32 bit) installed and I'd like to use the bundle in both DAW. Thank you very much! |

Hi Everybody! I purchased the VIP budle yesterday, thank you very much for that great deal! I started working with Plug&Mix on my laptop just to figure out how to better introduce these great plugins in my workflow. After some work, at each insert, all newly added plugins GUI started to lose all (or part of) the knobs. After that, I wasn't even able to insert some plugins (like the UltraMaxIt) as they were inserted as "offline". I think it's a RAM problem because my laptop is not my production machine, it's a little bit old and not so powerfull, here you are all the specs: - PC, Intel Core 2 duo, 4GB RAM, Win7 Home Premium 32 bit - Reaper 4.721 32 bit - Internal sound card with ASIO4All 2.10 Here my performance meter and other screenshot to show you my session and the GUI problems. Please let me know if it's just a RAM problem or there is something else, I saw that Plug&Mix are a little bit heavy with RAM, probably it will be better to use them on a 64 bit system with more RAM. Thank you very much! Santo |
