Hi!
I see you have a great offer for the DUY plugins and would like to ask if they are M1 compatible or not because on your web page I read "DUY’s Audio Units, VST, and VST 3 plug-ins are not yet compatible with M1" but on the DUY web page I read "Apple M and Intel 64 bits processors supported". So what is the truth? Are they compatible or not? Thank you! Best, Edo

Hi Edo,
Thank you for your comment. I agree that our product information is misleading. We will correct that. While DUY plug-ins are not supported "NATIVELY" on M series silicon chips, they do run under Rosetta. That means that you will need to lunch your DAW in Rosetta mode at launch. Here's how : 1- Make sure your DAW is closed. 2- Open Finder and select the Applications folder. 3- Right-click your DAW's application icon and select Get Info from the menu. 4- Check the option Open using Rosetta: Hope this helps. -------------------- Eric (The Plugiman)

I just saw this post on the DUY web page: All DUY plug-ins already provide Apple Silicon (M1/M2) support, including AAX, Audio Units (AU) and VST 3. Both Rosetta 2 emulation and native versions available. All DUY plugins are supported: POWER, Dream Dynamics, DaD Valve, DaD Tape, DUY Shape, DUY Wide, MAX DUY, Magic Spectrum, MagicEQ, DUY31, Silence, Deep Analog EQ, Analog Bus, Monster MIX, Lucid Verb and Vinyl. That's great news! It's a pity that they seem to have abandoned Z-Room, which I used to use a lot though...

Will these plugins not work with windows then? If not will they ever make them windows compatible anyone know?

They dropped Windows long ago, I don't think they plan to make them available for Windows in the future. Maybe you can ask DUY: lately they seem more responsive than some years ago when they practically disappeared. |

OK, since I do not have a working link to download the software, I tried to send a message from inside your web page but I get an "unexpected error" message and my message is not sent. Do I have to purchase some kind of upgrade? how can i get the M1 Native 64 installers? |
