Will the Bass Character (standalone) be available in the group buy?

I have everything but that one.

Hi,

I'm interested/curious about this deal, but it seems likely that I'll be completely offline for 2-3 weeks at the end of January (going to Spitzbergen). Hence I probably won't be able to do the actual purchase within the January 13-27 time span. Is it possible to find a workaround for this so that I could do the purchase once I'm back (early February)?

Thanks,
Trond

IOW if the group buy hits 75% off will I be able to get the Bass Character EQ for $27.25?

Echoing bapu's question -- will the XT-BC Bass Character Plugin be available for purchase individually? I've got all their other plugins also. Thanks in advance,

Deere.

Hi Deere,

I apologies for the late reply.

We have monitored your request and are talking our friends at Harrison into adding the individual plug-ins to the deal. We'll keep you posted ASAP.

Thanks - Peter

Hi mech,

Thanks for pointing out what obviously is a typo. We have fixed that to reflect that the voucher will be sent on Jan, 13 !

Hi all. I just found the deal on the KVR newsletter and joined your forums for the group buy.
I read your group buy rules though and I have an issue with it concerning this particular deal.
Harrison have a constant promo where you can get the basic version for $49,-
So I am not committing to this deal if there are not enough backers to get below that amount.
It seems reasonable to me ... (and a bit shady from Harrison ...)
If you don't agree please ban/blacklist whatever you want upfront smile.gif
Just being honest here wink.gif And looking for an honest deal ...
Erwin
Well please remove me from the group buy.
I tried a version 'from the internet' and it even can't load my newly purchased bx limiters. Voxengo and Sonalksis ain't supported either.
And a lot of other plugins also (with sidechain inputs ...)
I doubt it is because I don't have the official version ...
classe1
can i buy it now
Erwin
Is there a mod here?
Rabbit
There maybe a problem on the Group Buy status page.
It looks like the number of buyers has gone past 500 and the Discount Meter now shows 75% discount and is maxed out.
Unless something has changed on the buy parameters I think there's a problem?

rtucker55
Not sure what is going on with the Group Buy but I am also only interested in the Bass Character plugin as I already have everything else.

When will we hear something about this, time is running out.

Kind regards,
Rick

Is the Complete version available for purchase or not? I joined the GB just now, but noticed an inconsistency. While the GB page lists the Mixbus Complete as included in the GB, the Harrison Mixbus Store says that the Complete bundle "is currently unavailable".

Thanks for any clarification here. I look forward to buying (hopefully the Complete version)

You can't buy it for $49. It is a subscription at $49 plus a monthly fee. Read the page.

A version from the internet? How can you base anything off a hacked copy? From your posts they probably wouldn't want you to have it.

Yeah, that is odd... I doubt they've sold out. It is software after all heh heh. Sounds like website gremlins to me.

I noticed that MixBus and Essentials (bought separately, but under this offer) actually costs less than the combined package at the lower levels. Thankfully we've passed that level now smile.gif

Regardless - I'm going to get some really cool software, legally, and save a bit of dough; I'm not about to look a gift horse in the mouth smile.gif

Hopefully the gremlins get fixed and we all get to enjoy some savings smile.gif

Remember you probably only get one purchase. $198 to buy mix bus and the upgrade or $199 for the whole thing. I'll take the full version. Just hope we don't have to wait.

Good point. I suppose using a second email would be cheating (or even worse wouldn't work with the registration system), so that's a situation I don't want to find myself in smile.gif

On a related note - I'll be using Mixbus after tracking and VST-ising my stuff elsewhere (REAPER), so I'll only be using it for mixing. Do you think it's worth buying the additional listed plugins in the Complete package? I was planning on buying Mixbus + Essentials.

Cheers!
mech2161
I've heard the other plug ins have real good sound.

Hi Peter,

Any further info on if the individual plugs will be offered? I really want that XT-BC bass character plug as it is the only thing I don't have from Harrison/mixbus. Unfortunately, the Group Buy is coming to and end very soon.

Kind regards,
Rick

Same question here still -- I'm really keen to get my hands on the XT-BC bass character plugin as it's the only one I haven't already purchased. Time is running out, but I will absolutely commit to purchasing if it is available individually.

Also, to anyone wondering if the plugins are worth it -- trust me, they are! The mastering eq just sounds amazing, and I use the compressor on pretty much every vocal track now since getting it.

Thanks in advance,

Deere.

Deere
Two hours left on the group-buy. It doesn't look like it's going to be updated to allow for individual plugin purchase. If anyone's heard otherwise, let me know and I'll jump on it. Did you end up getting an answer Peter?

Cheers,

Mark.

I'm surprised that a simple answer cannot be had on XTC-BC as a group buy item.

Then again, maybe silence is the best answer?

Hi guys!
Anyone received a discount mail yet? I sure haven't.
I believe I was supposed to get it yesterday or am I wrong here?

Hmm.. They're based in Montreal so that means the time is around 20.00. I hope they work at night. I was really looking forward to try MixBus now. Read a lot about it. smile.gif

A voucher coupon will be sent to all subscribers on Monday, January 13 for them to purchase the product(s) of their choice at the reduced price from the Harrison Consoles store. The discount depends on the the number of subscribers.

I do not mind a day to early or a day to late, but the fact that you use the "committed to buy" statement I find this group buy a bit unprofessional.

Maybe I have missed something? Change in dates?

I am following this link: http://store.dontcrack.com/group-buy

Some info would be greatly appreciated.

well they sent out a mailing a few days ago stating that the 1000 was reduced to 500. at the time there were 588 and the discount showed the full 75%.

as for mailing... it is 1/14/2014 @ 01:23 EST and nothing in the post yet. as for the 'committed' statement... group buys are always like that. it is the commitment that gets the substantial discounts... but a lot back out if it never gets to it's goal. i had noticed that the amount joining each day was slowing down so i think don'tcrack and or harrison adjusted the agreement to guarantee purchases.

i am hoping harrison didn't bail out and the vouchers are just delayed. but i have seen companies to end things on their end due to lack of participation. but at this point harrison would be shooting themselves in the foot if they back out. would look REAL bad on them now and in the future. not good business sense...

Hello Everybody,

Thanks for your interest and participation in the DontCrack Mixbus Group Buy.

To make it as simple and efficient as possible, we have decided to not use vouchers, you just have to go to the following page:

And click on the link for the product(s) you want to purchase at the special "Group Buy" prices.

Thank you for making the Mixbus Group Buy a great success.

The license files try to save as the same file name so windows doesn't save them. Is there a different way to do this?

Hello,
I've juste seen your proposal of group-buying Harrison mixbus. Unfortunately I've seen it too late , it ended monday january 27, and I can't join your group any more! I'm very desapointed...
Do you think it would be possible for you to make it last some more days? Or to open a hidden back door to let me join the group?
Maybe it's just a dream, but who knows. Sometimes dreams come true...

Thank you very much for your answer and please forgive me my bad english.
