Hi..
This is just not ok.
selling software based on an upgrade, and then not delivering, for YEARS!!!!
C'mon, where is this at? It sounds good, but I need decimal places. Tempo. grrrr
AS petedavies states above, Dontcrack visitors had seen, and specially those of us _who actually bought TS_ know; the promotion of this software included functionality that was promised and yet to be delivered. Plus updates had been several times announced in this forum, to no avail right until this 19 February 2019.
Personally I had the opportunity to attend IRCAM FORUM at October 2018, where I was informed that a general lack of developers at IRCAM was slowing several of their projects, while academic activities and associations with external companies were thriving.
Fast forward to this year's Paris IRCAM FORUM version, and the program publishes a presentation of TS PRO in a few days: (See friday 29 Feb presentation at NONO room)
http://forumnet.ircam.fr/abstracts/However his event does does not grant any TS related release time frame, it will most probably be a theoretical and possibly practical demostration at best.
Marketing and product packaging requires additional actions.
I have to say that IRCAM organizers were then very open and receptive and this together with the relative responsiveness of Plugivery/Dontcrack representatives here, could very well be an opportunity for the latter to finally positively respond to this issue (we will see).
Hence it could be expected that IRCAM, Dontcrack and Plugivery respect and honor those of us who actually paid for a product that included promised functionality and therefore, when new versions of TS are actually released, include -at minimum- said features (plus compensate long years of waiting time with additional ones) in the existing licenses already acquired, without asking for further payments, regardless the business model they might develop for new customers.
We will be attentive.
