As the title says, the Authorizer does not work here, when I run it the little window pops saying Chainer was successfully authorized but Chainer stays in demo mode.

I have downloaded this thing twice (painfully slow and failed several times), installed, unistalled and cleared all leftovers and re-installed. Did all that at least twice, no joy. And I did use the right serial number.

I have reported all this to support more than once, received nice prompt replies but the problem persists. I have now asked for the cancellation of my purchase and a refund but have not received a reply to that.

They're great plugins....if I could save them in sessions....

No, the update did not work but Nick, the support guy here, was good enough to give me a new serial number which did work.
Sounds like you have the same problem? Ask him...

MS, The Authorization Code is actually the serial number which you should have received when you purchased Chainer.

If you have purchase the FULL Chainer product which allows you to chain the Plug and Mix and VST/VSTi plug-in. The authorisation code is the code that was on your Order Confirmation.

It will look like this:

PMCX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

If you are going to use the FREE Chainer which allows you to chain all of the Plug and Mix products you have purchased you use the same authorisation you got with your P+M product(s)
In the case of the VIP Bundle it would look like this:

VIP1-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

Hi,

I have also install the V1.2 of P&M Chainer and I try to Authorize it (v1.0 was working before). The plug in authorizer say authorization successfull but when I relaunch the plug, it stay in demo mode.
I try to repair the permissions and manually change the permissions on "Application support/Plug and Mix" but it don't work. I'm on OSX 10.8.5 and protools HD 10.3.10. I try also whith the standalone version. Same thing. Do you have an idea ?

I looked up your order history and you have the P&M VIP Bundle, but you haven't purchased the FULL Chainer.

When you are a registered Plug and Mix owner, you have the right to a FREE Chainer, you can use it to chain any of your Plug and Mix effects to chain them together to make great new presets.

The activation code is the one you used for your first Plug and Mix purchase.

The fact it says "Version 1.0.0 AAX (VST Demo)" is normal. It means you can use the P&M plug-ins but the VST plug-ins will be available in 'demo' mode.

That means they will fade out after 45 seconds of use.

BUT you can build chains and they can be saved as presets that you will be able to use if and when you get the FULL Chainer.

If you have great VST plug-ins and VSTi instruments from ANY manufacturer that you want to use you can get the FULL version which will allow you to chain them as well as the Plug and Mix plug-ins.

Until the 30th of May it is at a special introductory price of $49 instead of the $129 MSRP.

Then you will get a special new authorisation code for the FULL Chainer.

It will show 'Version 1.2.0' in the bottom right corner.
