Full Version: Get Rid On Click At The End Of A Sample With Ts2

Hi,
I recently bought TS2, which is a good editor. One thing I can't find a way to do, is to get rid of the click that sometimes appears at the end of a sample,
which is especially problematic when you use the sample as a loop.
On Ableton Live or Pro Tools, I solve the problem by turning the volume down to the very minimum on a short part at the end of the sample (fade out
is not enough), but when I do that with TS2, the click remains. I tried with both volume and/or fade out, same result.
Does anyone of you here have a solution for that ?
Thank you in advance for your attention.

Best wishes,
Fred

Hi Fred,

You can of course split the audio file with key command/edit process and fade to smooth out any tail for your audio. Ensure start and end are at zero crossing to loop.

Hi Ashley,

Thank you for the tip about splitting the file, it works like that.

Best wishes,

Fred
