Hello vic_france, I have some Flux VSTs running in my Chainer here on PT11 and OS 10.10 which is all 64bit and there are Flux VSTs showing up in the Chainer. I thought they were VST3 as everything seems to be 64 bit in this setup. Bernie has said on the KVR forum that the Chainer handles VST2 and not VST3 yet. My turn to apologise. Best Regards, Nick No problem, Nick Yes, I did see Bernie's reply.. and apparently there is hope that VST3 will be catered for somewhere along the line . |

Hello Nick, In the KVR forum, you replied to one of my posts, correcting me, that Chainer does support VST3 plugins and instruments. This does not seem to be the case here (on mac), unless I am missing something. Here's a copy of my reply in KVR (before I thought to post in here ).. >Hi Nick, I humbly apologise if I posted wrong information, but here (authorized version, of course) I see no trace of any VST3 FX plugin nor VST3 Instrument. The hierarchy structure for loading plugins that I see is "PM Plugins", "VST Instruments" and "VST Plugins", so, after reading your post, I looked to see if the VST3 plugins and the VST2 plugins shared the same hierarchy, but, I promise you, there isn't a single VST3 plugin or Instrument to be found there (for example, the Antares plugins, which have no VST2 version, on Mac, and I have about 150 VST3 plugins, not counting Steinberg's own ) :? . This is on Mac OSX 10.9.5 > |

So you need to download it again and install the whole set because the installer works only with the entire collection. Hi Nick, I already successfully installed the new Multitap (which, at least on Mac, you can install separately, because you can uncheckmark individual items in the installer ). I was mainly wondering if it was actually necessary to re-install the other AU plugins too . |

I presume we need only re-install the Multitap Delay? (Other than that, thanks for these lovely extra plugins ) |

Hello vic_france, A Trance Gate would be a stepped gate that follows the tempo right? Best Regards, Nick Yes, ideally with each step controllable both in level and in length (i.e. variable percentage of the step itself, but also with possibility of tying to the next step). (I reply, but the TranceGate was really cyphersuit's request, not my own ) |

Hi Nick, I was referring to cyphersuit's request.. QUOTE I would love a trancegate. nomad maga has one, the tough thing would be to supply the tg with less gui space... to which Peter replied.. QUOTE hello cyphersuit, A noise-gate is on the developers list of things to do right now. it won't be long to wait. Hence my request for clarification as to what type of gate Peter was referring to . My own request is indeed for a true noise gate (as you described).. so far absent from the current Dynamics category of P&M plugins. A Trance Gate is more akin to a step sequencer in its result.. and would indeed be a welcome addition also . |

A noise-gate is on the developers list of things to do right now. it won't be long to wait. I was just re-reading this topic, to see if a Noise Gate (i.e. "expander"-type, rather than "rhythmic gater") was already on the request list. Not quite sure which of those two you were referring to as being already no the "to do list" (hopefully, both? ) |

...And to top it all off, every group buy participants will receive a "investors certificate" that entitles them to 50% off all future Plug & Mix product releases. Hi, will that apply also to people who have purchased the VIP bundle prior to the group buy (and therefore paid more )? |

(pure coincidence that the last post was also about the Eventide reverb.. which, I agree, is lovely ).. but I just wanted to say similar for the EMT Plate ! .. There has been a lot of activity lately on the software reverb front (especially since the spectacular price-drop of the Lexicon bundles), and (notably on the KVR website) several reverb "shoot-outs". Well, I have been joining in the fun somewhat, and am happy to report that.. at least as far as the various plate algorithms go, that the P&M Digital Plate stands up very well indeed! (especially since it has so few editable parameters).. beautifully smooth tail . I suppose that an extra "high frequency damp" parameter would be welcome (as opposed to the current simple "Color" parameter). Also, another, more general, feature request.. for all plugins in the suite that are likely to be used in a "Send" configuration.. the ability to bypass the dry/wet mix, and switch it to 100% wet (independently of the presets). Anyways, really enjoying this bundle |

Hi, Thanks for the comment. I'll pass this along to our devs... All the best - Peter If I am understanding you correctly, you can control it manually (via the Center-Wah knob), with Speed, Depth, and Sensitivity all set to minimum. On the other hand, what would really make a difference (and would certainly be useful in some of the other plugins too ) would be MIDI Learn... then you could control the Center-Wah via a pedal. For anyone who uses Cubase, you can "kinda" get there already, using Quick Controls . |

Dear friends, HERE THEY ARE ! http://www.plugandmix.com/support/downloads/ We look forward to your feedback. Thanks - Peter Thank you! Some nice stuff amongst all that lot! (much tweaking to do before I can really criticise, though ) |

Hello: this problem persists and no new updates have been made available. Can someone comment please? Not being able to bypass the plugin in Cubase is a showstopper bug. I can confirm this bug here too. The Cubase audio channel's plugin bypass button does work, but only for about one second, then the effect comes back (although the bypass light remains on, of course). Fortunately, the "on/off" switch on the plugin's GUI does work |

Just to say thanks for the new "Plug and Mix" update (and the new plugins! ).. I tried to "beat the system" (unsuccessfully ), by previously saving a Cubase Project using a Don't Crack plugin (and changing some parameters) that was inside a "Dont Crack" subfolder, then reloading the Project.. just to see if anything would be "missing". It loaded perfectly, with the replacement "Plug and Mix" plugin! |

Oh and one suggestion concerning the Mac installer: Please add a "select all" button. It might be okay to select 22 plugins one at a time, but the closer we get to 40something, the more likely severe injuries from the clicking-strain will become. +1 from me too.. especially if installing VST and AU and RTAS.. that's a lot of checkboxes! |

Hi Vic, Was that fixed with 1.1.1 ? No other reports on that from other users... Thanks - Peter No, it's still the same in v1.1.1 (I'm pretty sure that it's only really noticeable with "sine"-type sounds, which might account for it not having been reported by other people yet). |

I'd really appreciate a decent Leslie cabinet. There are already some very good ones out there (e.g. the one in AmpliTube 3), but they all involve loading some large plugin (Amplitube 3, Guitar Rig 4+ etc) or loading an actual virtual B3 as an FX. The Dont Crack ethic of "one plugin for one job" would be perfect for this . |

Hi Vic, Isn't that a too high input problem ? Hi Peter, No. I used EchoFlex as an insert, and as you can hear, it is completely clean when set to 100% dry (on the GUI itself). It is also clean at 100% wet, when "Variation" is set to zero. I would almost "not mind" if this were just a "harmonic distortion" (aliasing?) problem, but, from your own comment too.. it does sound like some kind of overload somewhere, doesn't it? |

I am hearing some distortion in EchoFlex, that I don't think is intentional (at any rate, it doesn't sound like an "analog" distortion to me ). Please download the following Url.. http://vic.emerson.perso.neuf.fr/Uploads/EchoFlex.zip It contains a very short audio clip, and the EchoFlex preset that was used. It is just one long note on a Rhodes sound, played twice.. once with the Mix control 100% dry, and then again at 100% wet. The "wet" setting is as close to the dry as possible.. with one exception.. "Variation". With "Variation" at zero, the sound is perfectly clean, but distorted when increased (it is set at "3" here). Turning down the Tone control does reduce this, but seeing as the Rhodes has hardly any high frequencies anyways, should that be necessary? Anyways, I'd appreciate your comments. Thanks |

Btw, The Preset folder for DC-EchoFlex is named "DC-EchoPlex" here . |
